    Hi all,

So I picked up one of these Hobart Stickmate LX 235 AC/160 AC/DC models in the classifieds. Owners stated the classic BS, used twice.. Anyway, I opened it to clean out the dust bunnies and saw some of wax on the wiring and transformer block... ect indicating to me he had ran it...

We have this old welder at a farm we own.....it was aquired by my uncle about 60 years ago after he got out of the service....it was some sort of job training deal....he never learned how to use it. He told me that it probably hasn't had a pound of rods put through it. It weighs a ton...solid copper....
