Z71 wit some super wide offset wheels. The owner hauls the truck for bass competitions. He was changing out the front tires to clear the fenders and blew a tire on the ramps which were to too narrow. There will only be about 3” of the tire on the fenders....

    Wiring

I will soon have my shop wired to supply 220. From what I’ve read here I need a 50 amp circuit using #8 wire in order to power my Stickmate LX 235. In order to to run the MVP 210 on that circuit I would need to add a smaller breaker 40 -30 ?down stream to a separate outlet?

I decided to upgrade to the mvp 210, the machine that I wanted to begin with just couldn’t afford it at the time. I haven’t lost my loyalty or respect for the brand....

I’m burning the Hobart self sheilding wire 71T-11 .030 and .035, both the same as the sample spool provided with the machine. The wire speed adjustment does effectively control the speed. Stick out varied. I’m welding 3” at a time pausing enough in between. Polarity was set for the Flux cored...

I welded with it yesterday and no change. I will add that I can’t get close to the recommended wire speed running wide open. 50 is the suggested speed using .030 and I have to keep it right around 30 to somewhat stabilize the arc. 50 and I’m bouncing off the plate. I believe I may end up having...
