Looks like you got it done. Pretty slick job. What looks like a quick simple job really takes a lot more time than most folks realize.

I usually run either an S-6 .030 wire with CO2 or .045 T-11 flux core. Once I switch from one to the other It takes a lot to get me to switch back. I like sticking with just the two. I've got a smaller machine I leave dedicated to .023 solid for any thin stuff that comes up, which isn't often.

Uh Oh, that roll of wire you show in the pic looks like it says E71T-11, not solid wire but flux core. Bad deal. If it is flux core then the polarity is wrong, no gas needed, and you will have real problems with 16 gauge and flux core....

Flip the wire drive open so you don't stab yourself in the ear/face and squeeze the trigger. You should be able to hear and feel the gas coming out. It's cubic feet per hour (CFH), btw, not psi. Stick the end of the gun in a glass of water if need be. Comes out about like a breath of air.

At 210 amps it's not continuous duty by a long ways plus the distance is very short in the scheme of things.
