Not a major 4X4 and the most off roading I do is in farmers fields getting old farm equipment to scrap. Thats accually a cow pasture we are in there.

In this picture you will see some buses, I have 7 of them to tear down and 2 semi trailers.

Not an XJ, but a 4bt can boil the hides.

Be carefull with how much you want to do at once. The winter after the above pics were taken I tore it down for an engine swap, added an axle swap, decided to completely rewire, then I wanted to do link suspension... Two years later I now have it back on wheels, even though the axles are just braced enough to roll it around. A good friend of mine is going through the same thing. Wanted to do an engine swap and axle swap and 2 years later, still not done, although he can at least drive his around the yard. Too much to do got us unmotivated.

Awesome project MJL. Hard to beat a old school IH for shear toughness.

Thanks! After I built it the first time I went wheeling with a bunch of Jeeps, it went (almost) everywhere I pointed it.

Here is my TJ. It has been my work in progress for 6 years now.

First picture was from Windrock, TN in June. Second picture is how it sits today as it is going through a major revamp.

My old YJ, started out as bone stock and ended up SOA on 37's, full cage, built 4.3/700r4/Atlas, 8.8 rear, etc.

A YJ that I built over X Mas for a guy from a bare frame. 4.3 Chevy motor, 700r4, SOA on Old Man Emu springs, custom steering, etc, then he ran out of money!
