Progress on the Bird Today
Today I tacked on the first set of Wing "feathers". The wing is too narrow in cross section, but I may take 'Artistic License" and keep them that way, vs. "chunking' them up with another row...I'll sleep on that. here's where its gotten to today (all welds will be cleaned up). I'm using ER70S6, so, and the body and wing apr are all plain ol' steel, so I'm thinking I'll experiment to see how the stainless ware takes the hot oil treatment. If that doesn't look like its going to work to my satisfaction. I''probably just clear it all...maybe dip it...
