  • Plans for an ATV snowplow???

Tired of spending hours behind the snowblower, toying with the idea of building a bracket and buying a plow...Plows are $150 from Canadian Tire, but the whole shebang is about $500 (Plow, frame, mounting plate)....

The local Can-Am dealer (formerley known as Bombardier) wants $750 plus taxes...

    Thanks in advance

This picture should be descriptive enough to see what you need to fabricate. Jack up your ATV and measure the distance to the mounting area...at least two mounts on each side unless you want to stress your ATV's frame. Skip the manual riser handle and its hardware if you have a front mounted winch.

Wyoming, coould I possibly inconvenience you for some measurements of the mounting frame......

Not a priority, as all of our snow is pretty well gone, so this is not needed probably until next year now.....

      Thanks...Mike

Be happy to, but not sure it would have a whole lot of relevance for your project as mine is attached to a Yamaha Grizzly. Might be a couple or more months of snow before I can manage to get to it.
