  • Tow Dolly Help

I have a tow dolly and when I tie the tires down the width of vehicles are different and the ratchet clamp is stationary and I need to make it so it can slide side to side to line up with the tire as in pic 1. Now in Pic 2 is a tow dolly from U-Haul and I need to know what the channel that the ratchet is sliding in is called and/or where I can get it?

There should be aa web basket that covers most of top part of tire, if your has single bweb strap its wrong.....

Thank you for the reply Dale but it is the ratchet that is my problem not the webbing. Some tow dolly manufacturers use a steel bar to slide the ratchet but I think that in time the bar would bend.

How about add a couple of rings (3- Left/center/right) and use ratchet binder with hook on it....
