Kennel Rack

We do dogs...by that we breed, train and show Staffordshire Bull Terriers, a little dog from England. In my garage we have several kennels stacked on top of each other.....so in order to clean behind them you have to move each one indivually. A big pain to do.

Enter 'the kennel rack'...

Here's the concept...i had to load the kennels into it to see where to put the front vertical in...couldn't have it in front of a door. I will add wheels later, and a top tier, too.

Rocky, if I was a dog, I'd surely like to be on the top of the rack! Ya never know what the wind might blow in!

Here's a close up of the corner gussets and also notice how nicley sealed the joint is by cutting the frame on 45 degrees. I don't like to have open square tubing ends.

And here's a center gusset...same size only turned long side up.

cope: I did this at home with a Hobart 110 MIG, E70S-6, .024" wire and 75/25 gas.

Very attractive dog Rocky. I have a two year old brindle boxer now. (Thor, of course) He is a great dog, but a little big for the house. Someday when I am in the market for a new son, I will be looking at the Staffordshires.

Hey Rocky, the kids have been wanting a dog for a while now. Are those pretty good with kids? And how do they do inside? Easy to train? Seems to be a good size for a house dog........

I have the same model of paint booth just outside my shop. But the darn thing breaks down on me sometime every October, and I can't get it running again until about April. Another problem occurs in May and June when mosquitoes seem to enjoy using the fresh paint as flypaper....but steel wool takes them right off after the paint dries.
