Snow- the white stuff that covers the road, and renders most drivers complete morons. It's amazing how even in MI so many people forget how to drive in the stuff in the six months of the year we don't have it around.

It's also the reason we buy Christmas trees, as they are the only thing green we see for six months at a time.

Hey Franz, I ran your zip code thru weater.com, looks like a heat wave is coming your way. They're predicting a high of 36 on Monday.

I'd appreciate it if you could get behind that heat wave and give it a push, right now it's 5* and the local weather guesser predicts a high tomorrow of 8*. Looks like I gotta pump more fuel oil into the house this weekend.

I don't know where you get your info old one, or for that matter where they get theirs. But I've been hauling trailers from woodsplitter size to 10K# dumpers to my 8K# enclosed toy trailer since the first week I bought this rig. I realise that it's a tad under-powered for the larger stuff, and that's why I'm going bigger. But to say they are an accident waiting to happen? Give me a break. Someone's been smoking them funny cigs again.

If the statistics show that a higher percentage of accidents occur with FORD (note the spelling, Franzie) SUV's, it's likely due to their popularity. Too many idiots buy them and immediately think they are qualified to pull a trailer, or that they can drive it where-ever whenever. But I'd bet the same is true for ALL SUV's, not just the Fords.

Personally, I thinkit's great that they don't rent trailers anymore. That means these same idiots aren't clogging the road somewhere, jack-knifed because they forgot to park where they didn't have to back up to leave. And besides, I own my trailers.

Calm down 2.0, I was just passin on information I heard on the news. You really gotta get that blood pressure under control.

I got one of them 460 gas swillers out under the snow pile, and I'll grant ya it can pull, if only it could convert all that torque into traction on anything other than asphalt or ease into a load, it might be something.

Now I can't pretend to be any sort of current authority on Michigan drivin habits, but I doubt they are any way superior to what the nitwits here exhibit. Screw Haul has always been a strange company, from the guy who founded it right on down, ****, half of the family has been murdered, and the other half is under suspicion of pullin the trigger.
You really don't want to get me goin on the "adventure in moving" my wife got me into where I got to drive the Screw Haul she rented from the EXPERT Screw Haul "moving consultant". That **** thing sure was an adventure drivin the Century Welder of the truck world. Last time I saw it the "truck" was danglin off the *** of a tow truck.

                Franz,

Let us not forget the UHaul classic trailer wiring harness that will only work with your wiring harness plug IF you purchase the $8-$10 UHaul provided patch plug. Nothing quite like gouging your customer base for a few pennies more. Next time the brother-in-law's car takes a dump out on the Interstate I'm hooking up the flatbed trailer even though I did keep the patch plug from the last time I rented one of their car dollys for said in-law. Hoping I never see the inside of a UHaul dealership again. Wish I could say the same for the brother-in-law.

Not to interfere with the excellent discussion in progress but one reminder of the excellent site on small band saws:
