Nice stand their buddy, but I have to wonder is all that stuff in the kitchen for I think I could eat off that floor.

Metal shop and wood shop occupy the same space. So I try to keep the place cleaned up, so I don't burn the place down. Since I'm a contractor by trade, I often get good deals on kitchen cabinets(like when I do a tear out, I get to keep the cabs) so my shop is outfitted with a mixed breed of the best. Sometime I'll do some more shop pics.

        Nice Shop

Slick looking stand, I like it. Jerry's shop is that clean too but without the cabinets. Whats that on the floor? Is it 12" square floor tile? Is the whole floor covered with it? David

I have a cousin who owns a rubber flooring company. He sends me down "mill ends" of rubber flooring, usually 38" wide and 16-20' long. I use them as runners in front of the benches, and have used them to floor the inside of my enclosed race car trailer, and other various places. Rubber is nice, doesn't burn, or melt like vinyl.

BKC, If you could "spare" an 8' piece of that rubber flooring standing at my workbench sure would be alot easier on the feet

BKC, great job on the stand. I'd like to make one similar to yours when the weather gets a bit warmer!

Quick question - what size square tube did you use (dimensions and thickness)? Just wondering what should be suitable for the weight of the machine and cutting stock, but not total overkill.

                  Thanks!

                      BKC,
Mind letting me know where you got those wheels? Or anyone have a good supply source for decent lockable castors? Every place I see them seems to be very $$$$ and I'm kind of cheap.

                          I used 2 x 2 x 1/8" tubing for my stand.

The wheels I stole off my sons bike(they are the training wheels)

I don't mind anybody using my design, in fact post pics, I'm sure there are a lot of refinements that can be done. We all need ideas!. Brian

                              Nice job!

I've got one of those saws, and every time I move it I'm afraid the stand is going to buckle and the saw fall over and smash.
