Chris, I have been building a 6x10 enclosed trailer and perhaps I can be of help. I drew up the plans myself and your'e welcome to them but you'll need access to Autocad as I have no paper copy. Most of the special parts I used are manufactured by Redneck trailer parts www.redneck-trailer.com although if I were to do it over again I would try to avoid redneck parts as much as possible. I have found that haulmark www.haulmark.com sells parts directly and I would probably go that route if I were to do it again. Of course, changes would need to be made to the plans in that case. You can check out the thread on my trailer at http://www.hobartwelders.com/mboard/...hlight=trailer
If you have any questions feel free to ask, I will help if I can.

I would apprecciate a copy and I can import *.dwg files.
thaks
I viewed your trailer project, and all I can say is:
WOW!
Can you send me a copy of your plan ? I would love to see how you came up with it on CAD, and to determine whether the project is manageable enough for me.
I am an old autocad guy, and I spent my former career designing products on Autocad, and then on Pro/e, and then on Solidworks.
Ryel, Novanut and E-Z, I sent a copy of the layout to your e-mail. If you have any questions feel free to ask. I would like to help anyone avoid the bugs I had to work out.
E-Z, I spent about four years as a draftsman using Autocad. I have played with Pro/E a little but never tried Solidworks. I have seen Solidworks used and it looks real cool. If I ever get an opportunity I would like to learn it.

HI Jason,
I read about your project and liked your finished product. I am looking for a similar trailer for a mobile water treatment plant for Philippine project. Our required size is 1.8 m by 4.5 m by 2 m high. with 2 wheels each side. Can I request for your autocad design for me to refer. My email: [email protected] the treatment plant shall be manufactured in Thailand so with the trailer and we shipped to Manila.
kind regards. Lito
Hi Jason,
I have just been asked to undertake some AutoCAD training in engineering and thought that your trailer would be an ideal project for my class. Would it be possible to send me a copy of the dwg file please. As I have previously only trained architectural cad I would also appreciate any other plans that you may feel suited to new engineering cad students.
AMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to avoiding redneck trailer parts. Those folks are the most rude, confused, and wacked up bunch of people I have ever had to buy anything from. With that said I use Quality trailer parts ( branch in timmonsville s.c.) They are extrmely nice.
