Need to build a round bale trailer for a friend he needs to haul two maybe three bales inline not side by side. Basic design of the trailer and cradles for the bales is no problem. My question is do any of you know how these trailers dump the bales. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Dou you get Farm Show magazine or know someone who gets it? They are having those projects in there all the time.

seen one in a succesful farming mag. ....hauled 6 bales inline and was a self dumper ...just pull pin and one bale would roll off to the side...it was in the back under projects that people sumited...have to look to find the issue it was inI don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every minute of it

Alden,
I write for FARM SHOW magazine. We've had several trailers for big bales over the past few years. If you're not a subscriber, you can request a free issue at the website. I'm not trying to sell subscriptions, but we also have a CD that has every story from every issue that's been printed in the 26 years the magazine has been around. It's searchable by keyword, source's name, state, and more. And nearly all our stories have an address and phone number where you can get more information.
Let me know if I can help.

Automated bail trailers, no wonder farm boys don't grow muscles any more.
