Flatware Mutilation and Talented People

I saw this at the Bele Chere Festival this summer in Asheville NC. The man that made them said they are made from spoons and wire welded. The fish has 640 spoons in it. I wish I just had a little talent.

The fishes are way cool! I can see a few tabelware pieces in the dragon, but it escapes me after that where the other pieces use them, That is excellent work!. I have probably a bushel of asst. tableware I pick up here and there when its cheap or free...for some reason I keep thinking I'll make a human form from it.

For the dragon it looks like he welded the whole thing with and forgot to turn on the gas I didn't know that was a selling point...

He's definitely a better artist than he is a weldor but nobody buying that stuff knows the difference.

He turns the wire feed way up to get that look. He also had some that he TIG welded that I did not get any photos of.
