  • Spool cart

I haven't done a steel project for some time so this is kinda fun.....It's for a company that makes things out of Carbon Fiber and this cart holds the material spool 300 lbs worth...It is 1/4 wall tube so it is over kill...I decided to tig some of it and mig the brackets....

1/2 -13 threaded bungs are welded from the back of the tube giving the caster mounts a threaded hole to bolt to....

Why does a ompany that works with carbon fiber need a spool cart?

From what I was told it holds a roll of material that is feed into a machine for making the carbon fiber parts they make.....Don't know, I'm not a Carbon fiber guy? They have a 400 hundred Ton press that has a table 5'x5' and
very impressive working at 200 tons for the average fiber part....

I especially like your Tig welds. I see you haven't lost your touch on steel.
