Metal Bending Brake: assembly 1

Here is a couple pictures of the first assembly procedure on the machine. Once again I am going to state that I want you to pay attention to the fact that I have not completed the notch on the bed leaf. This first picture is a top view of the bed leaf and the pivot point brackets after they have been welded together.

Important: remember in a previous post I explain how to line these parts up properly.

MigMaster 250- Smooth arc with a good touch of softness to it. Good weld puddle wetout. Light spatter producer.
Ironman 230 - Soft arc with a touch of agressiveness to it. Very good weld puddle wet out. Light spatter producer.

This next picture is just a front view of the previous picture.

MigMaster 250- Smooth arc with a good touch of softness to it. Good weld puddle wetout. Light spatter producer.
