Hello all:
I just found your board a couple days ago, and thought you might like to see some solar powered light fixtures built by my group of 20 architecture students (I teach architecture at University of Kansas).
Most of these students had never welded before taking this class. The class is about half male/half female. Project took 7 weeks from start of design to final installation. The students worked in teams of 3 or 4 on 6 different light fixtures.
Most of the bent steel was done with O/A torch, except the biggest pipes which we had professionally rolled.
For pictures of the Completed lights.
For process photos
Cheers,
Nils
