I am not usually interested in grills but that is nice and I really like the quarter round top. Way better than some full lids I have seen. I am almost tempted to make one like that, maybe a bit smaller and with gas. That is nice.

OK Trevor, no more pictures of grills! Your shifting my priorities away from other projects! That is very nice, I really like the shelf above the main surfce as well as the work surface outside the cooker. Let us know how it cooks!

Nice grill but no rebar. I'm sure Royal Fe will figure a use for rebar on his grill.

Looks good. I have been thinking about modifying my store bought grill. I would like an easy way to dump the ashes.

Sberry must be from the North. Everyone knows the only way to Q is with charcoal.

i actualy thought of ataching a gas burner under the grate only to light the wood/charcoal

I like using an electric starter to get the coals going. I think I bought it at Wal Mart. Ya don't need anything of gas to Q.

Ahhem, since this is a welding board, somebody ought to be thinkin of a rosebud for a lighting device.
Or, you could just use a piece of stovepipe and a couple sheets of newspaper to get the charcoal going.
I might live in NY, but what have you got against using good old fashioned wood for the fire?

...or you could get that new fangled chi-com gas cutting torch to lite it up for ya.
