  • Testing our the Bucket..))))whooohooo

    Ok guys...Will and I got together today at his place. We wanted to see if I could actually dig a hole with this thing....welll see for yourself..)))

    This took about two hours and best guess it was maybe 3 yards total dug....Sure was fun.

    OK...first pic is of the boys..'

                  Well...dang after Will had me dig this hole...he told me I had to put the dirt back in.....kinda like the army...))....well here is the hole all filed back in with me parked on top....sure took alot less time to fill back in. Took about 2 hours to dig and 20 mins to fill.....Dang...want a blast....

                    dang...here is a pic of Wills tractor at work..)...he took out two loads for me to show me the method of curling the bucket at the right time.....after this it I was digging a lot faster....

                        Guess I gotta add my 2 cents....I was very impressed with how well this bucket worked. It is a serious digging tool! Bob was digging and moving dirt like a pro. The x475 did a good job as well. We need to build a weight for the back that is a little higher off the ground for better clearance. Of course it won't be used very often to dig a hole 4 feet deep, but is nice to know it can. Bob's neighbors will be lining up with dirt moving projects. This was a fun project with great results. Now Bob, we need to start the design on a backhoe for my tractor!

                            The last pic where you are dumping on the pile.
                            I finally see what you ment about the height.
                            Excellent job!!!

                            I see something along these lines for my 16 hp ford.

                            I'll e-mail you next time in on netcrap, I may have some help for you and Will on the backhoe project.
