  • Metal bending brake pages 3a & 3b

    This part was made from a peice of 3" X 5" X 1/4" angle iron. However, there is no reason why it couldn t be a peice of the 5" X 6.7 lbs channel that was used on page 2.I wouldn t use 4" channel , because you be weaking this peice quite a bit. This part required 2 drawings . They will be 3a & 3b. When you look at page 3b you will notice that I removed an 1 1/2" of material from the 3" leg of the angle iron.

    MigMaster 250- Smooth arc with a good touch of softness to it. Good weld puddle wetout. Light spatter producer.
    Ironman 230 - Soft arc with a touch of agressiveness to it. Very good weld puddle wet out. Light spatter producer.
