Trevor,
rest assured, many have had trouble with their first picture posts. It is a little picky, but what a great feature!
Looks like good work, but:
Rocky D's comment about galvanized is kinda serious ... lead and tin from galvanize that get air borne with heat can do serious brain damage. If you burn it off good in a very open space with ventilation the danger is reduced. Sorry if this seem like a turd in your punch bowl, but better you should know.
I was with an Army group once that made an ad hoc grill out of a "no tresspassing" sign ... with paint and galvanize. Grilled hamburgers and had a nice lunch. I'm still OK, or so it seems to me.... how do you tell.
Bob
at least I can still type!

For wheels, what about 2-3" sections of 8" pipe, with spokes made out of 1/4" rod (Or whatever) and smaller diameter tube in the center to fit over the axle? Lasts forever and can't burn, go flat, etc.. New Braunfels BBQs has a line of "Oklahoma Joe's" smokers that are made out of heavy plate and pipe. Worth crusing by a home, sports or farm store to get some measurements and ideas. Good luck, eat too much!Amateur welder with many projects in mind

On a serious note, New Braunfels stuff is good for the money.Last edited by cope; 04-23-2003, 07:34 AM.
