Company I work for (EDO) makes bomb racks, military comm gear and jamming gear, and a thing called "short stop" that pre-detonates incoming artillary, rocket, and mortor rounds with proximity fuses. It still rains bits of metal, but is much less deadly.

That is cool Taco,...but please cut the...chu cud makes sumpin,....fun is fun, but this forum is serious for many of us,...some of us do not agree occasionally, and we even have some heated discussions from time to time, but we come here to learn and draw knowledge about what we love to do, for some this is a hobby,..some it is a hobby/extra income,..and some this is our bread a butter. Probably one of the more knowledgable welders on this site, and he is good, is Dan, has a tendency to get under my skin, but man,....If you keep it up,.......I wo luk at yur pots!
And Dan, you are a professional, I know that,and I think we have kind of talked about keeping it simple, and I do respect you and what you have to say, because I have learned some things from you. I hope you forgive me for pulling you out like that.

I weld for fun, but war is pretty serious stuff.

Don't have a link, but I understand there is a web site to get info needed to send care packages directly to individual troops. I suspect anything sent would be wonderful on the other end.
