It's not so much the size of the rolls, but how they are positioned together. I just finished building one last week, If you check back thru this forum, there are some pics of it. I am planning to post some drawings soon. I just haven't found the time to do it yet.Arbo & Thor (The Junkyard Dog)

Sorry Guys!!
I drew it up and put it in a folder. I must have had a senior moment after that, because I forgot about it. I happen to know where they are, and will try to get them up this weekend.Arbo & Thor (The Junkyard Dog)

Ring Roller
Hi,
I posted this before but I'll save you the hassle of looking for it. A few points:
1. I like Arbo's design better so you may want to wait for his drawings.
2. I think a key to my design and Arbo's is that the rollers are supported on both sides. It makes the machine stronger but the downside is that if you roll a complete circle you have to take the machine apart to get the piece out. Probably a good tradeoff if you're not in high volume production.
3. Arbo used a pipe coupler that actually threads onto the pipe nipples. My rollers are a slip fit. My approach is a bit of a hack but has the advantage of allowing for longer rollers so you could do wider but thinner material.
