Cold rolled steel vs Hot rolled steel?

Ok I am looking to do a project with some 1/4 inch rod that I need to bend...which is easier to bend...cold or hot rolled steel??

If you use heat to bend the rod, either will do. Without heat the coldrolled can snap on you

You shouldn't need heat to 1/4" I guess it depends on how tight a bend you want. I would get hot rolled and a HF compact bender.
