    chriswelds,

If it looks like the attached, yes.

I do not have dies, for this bender, for bending tubing.

I don't use it a lot. There are so many ways to bend things.

You might try a search. I know this has been discussed before.

I have the one that Dave posted a picture of. I have the scroller and the twister for it. I wouldn't try to bend any tubing with it. I like using the scroller on it more than anything.

        harbor freight bender

        ChadRat, Dave and all

The originator of that style bender is HowRon industries...the H.F. unit is a knockoff...

he does sell the dies for round, square tubing and of course you have the flats... and they will fit the H.F. unit

he also sells a video that shows use of the bender and it's pretty good...

had a nice visit/conversation with Howard at Crusin the Coast car show last year in Biloxi...

he sells that size ... one smaller and one he calls the brute that has torque multipliers and such... kinds of a Tim Taylor Bender..
        he's on the net and I think it's http://metalbendingtool.com/

          John,
On the metalbendingtool web page there are 3 different benders. Do you know which dies fit the H.F. bender?

          Thanks

looks like he has a Hossfeld knock off too. I wonder if his dies will work with a Hossfeld bender.

I got a new harbor freight mailout yesterday and they have the bender on sale for $69 (it's regular 139). I guess it's an in-store sale only since the website says 139

here's the part numbers from the catalog.

                    Lot No. 31980/38470

even if I enter those numbers in the "order from printed catalog"
section I can't get the 69.99 price to come up.

Oh yeah, the catalog says on the back that the sale ends March 24

Ahh ... just re-read the flyer I think these are in store prices only. I'm gonna head by the store local to me today and find out.

                      Morpheus

I tried that number you posted and they told me I needed more numbers that are associated with the bender to get the sale price. Without the rest of the numbers the 139.99 price comes up. Help!!!!!! Got any more numbers?

unfortunately there aren't any more numbers than that in the flyer I've got. it just says:

                        "LOT NO 31980/38470"

I know what they're talking about those most numbers have a series of 5 digits then a dash and a digit then 3 letters.

                        like this: 31980-1VGA

it's weird that none of the items in this whole flyer/catalog have items numbers like they normally do.

I didn't make it by my local HF store, but will on Monday.

                          morpheus,

Same flyer in Iowa. Lot No. 31980/38470. It was "standing room only" at our local HF today. You better hurry, for $69.99.

By the way, some years ago, I believe I paid 139 and saw it for 99 several months later. I phoned them and they credited my account for the difference!!.........Do you suppose if i called again..........

It can't get much lower than 69.

Well Morpheus, thanks for trying. I really appreciate your efforts. Unfortunately there is not a HF store in my area. In fact I have never seen one anywheres. For $69.99 I would certainly pick up that bender if it were possible.

                            Thanks again

I'm going to the HF store on monday, If they've got any left I'm gonna buy one. I'll be able to tell you the stock number then.
