haven't seen those in years !!!!!! WOW

they had a set of guages on both ends !! the inventor figured he would get twice as much gas, that way, out of one tank. never figered how to fill them ,though. he was a relative of mine.

LOL, I think you can buy bowls at Pier one

Or you could buy a nice lathe, and a hunk of metal?

A mill and a bridgeport for good measure!!!!

Do a google search for metal spinning. There are still quite a few companies doing this, you might find one pretty close by. Scott

don't some fishermen use allum. ***** for net floats ? there might be a lug with rope eye you could cut off.

You don't say what thickness you crave. You could slice the tops off old O2 (steel) and CO2 (aluminum) cylinders. My welding shop give them to me free because the salvage yard aon't accept them unless they are cut in half, and they don't want to screw with that.

Tops for fence posts. Check with a company that does Cyclone Fences. They don't routinely use 3", but may be able to put you on to a supplier.

I think you might find what your looking for if you try a place that sells pipe flanges.
they use varius caps like that to make pressure vessles
