I like that just tack it up and make it work. That is how I do most of my projects. No plans just tack it up and make it work.

HI Gary, Its the new X475. It has the liguid cooled 23hp Kaw. I got it last April. Currently it's way more tractor than I need. Last year when I was looking for a new tractor the wife decided it was finally time to move back to the country and build that log cabin we have been dreaming about. Well...I knew that meant more property and thus the need for a bigger tractor .

Thanks for the complement on the design. I really hadn't built anything yet for the 3 point and had a lot of stuff I needed to figure out. This one took some thought and a lot of tack welding to test fit up and lift. After several attempts I finally enede up with something that worked.

I was at BOC to pick up a new welding jacket. My old one looked like it had been hit with buckshot, and it had shrunk after 10 years of washing....new one fits better.

It looks like we will need to make a trip to Aaron's place next weekend to try out his new TIG welder.
Thanks Will, Whenever Aaron is ready for a demo I am ready.

BOC gave me a good quote on the Hypertherm. Lower then what I have seen on the internet. They say Hypertherm days are do the second week in April so I will probably wait till then.

    Avitar

    Aaron,

I don't know about the creative side but Pic of you and the new machine would be nice. That might be a challenge to fit into the allotted space. Look at this way: Now you have yet another project.

HAHA....John we haven't had much snow here in Mid Michigan this year. So far all the bad stuff they predicted for us never made it. Figures, I get the tractor and blade and we get no snow.

I plan on a building a core aerator yet and a Johnny type bucket with hydrolics. Should be some fun projects.

Thanks for the complements. My welding seems to be improving with time. Practice, practice and more practice seems to be paying off some.

Your right Dave, I had a hard time visualizing what I was going to do exactly. I really just started grabing scrapes and tacking things together till I had the geometry working.

Arbo, thanks. This was a fun quick project to fill my day off today. I have several implements I want to build for the 3 point. I will post as I get them completed.
