    aweaver,

Mine is probably wishful thinking more than anything. It's gonna be a while before I get MIG going like it should. Practice, practice, need more practice. One nice thing about dreaming, it is still usually a learning experience .

I still like the looks of the Dynasty 200DX, besides that it's inverter. Of course, I'll be looking for a while longer .

when ya get it be sure to ship it to me. I promise to play with it I mean test it out for ya. I want a tig but I want to play around with gas welding first. I think next on the big purchase list is a nice plasma cutter for me.

    Cope,not from Ernie?

I traded away a mint 250 migmaster, when I got my MK.Lots of voltage out of that machine. It would spray at half power with .045 wire.It would also weld very low for bodywork.

See guys,I like older tech too.

I have heard good things about the Esab 250 MIG also.

    Esab

Ernie it the google site hates Esab,so you will not hear anything good about the ac/dc 161.I really think the esab with the foot control,or slider is cool.Just because of the feature of variable freq control by the remote.Hi freq low amps, and low freq hi amps.None of the others do that, and on aluminum it fools the metal into thinking it a bigger machine.you could kind of do the same thing on my Thermal 300 if you had three hands. So at this point, everybody is jumping in the bandwagon. There is no bad picks in that class from any of the top welding machine makers.I would be happy with any of them. The only way I be pissed if I bought a transformer for the around the same price.

Hey guys the end is near?

To you small 180 amp ac/dc transforrmer buyers, check out what Ernie has to say. It's the new kid on the block, and it sounds like this might make Miller a little nervous, atleast in pricing of inverters.
