I have noticed that all of the welding carts offered for the HH 135 and HH 175 wire welders have the welder positioned on an angled shelf. Is the shelf angled only to make the control panel easier to see or is there some other reason to have the machine at an angle? Thanks in advance.

    Welding Cart

MIG welders are mounted at angle so it is easier to see and work the controls. If welder is mounted higher and level then CG is raised making them tippy so the cart needs to be wider for stability. Any cart you buy or make will change just because you have a welder.

BITTERNUT..........WELL WE OFFER 2 DIFFERENT KINDS OF CARTS HERE AT MILLER/HOBART.........ONE IS AT AN ANGLE AND THE OTHER IS FLAT.........THE MAJORITY SEEM TO LIKE THE ANGLED ONE......SOME LIKE THE FLAT ONES............ DEPENDING ON WHERE YOU PURCHASE YOUR MACHINE, SOME MACHINES ON SPIFFS AND SPECIAL ORDERS COME WITH EITHER.........I'VE SEEN BOTH CARTS GO OUT WITH THEM,.......... EXAMPLE TRACTOR SUPPLY ONLY USED THE FLAT CART ON THEIR LAST SPECIAL ORDER........ LOOK AROUND AND SEE WHAT YOU LIKE........ I MADE MY FIRST 2 CARTS, BUT I WAS JUST GOOFING OFF.........ROCK......
