  • Miller Syncrowave 500

Recently, I was thinking to purchase a used Miller Syncrowave 500. It is a power supply only; I am still working on finding the equipment necessary to upgrade the unit to the tigrunner package. Anyways, the manual states that the device operates from 25 amps to 500 amps. Most of my welding would be on metals that are thicker than .125"...although I will need to be able to weld thin sheet metal (such as body panels and floor pans on a car). If the device's minimum output amperage is 25 amps, will this device weld thin steel or aluminum without burning through? Thanks for your help.
