Actually, I've narrowed my choice in baby MIGS to the Millermatic 135 or the Handler 135. I'll be fabbing light gauge sheet steel, some angle iron work, and 1/8" walled tubes most of the time. today, I have no need to work on aluminum, and when I do, I'll probably look at a good used TIG unit.
Anyhoo, I've thought about the 175s, but really like the idea of being completely portable so I can take the welder to the cottage.
So, I'd appreciate any feedback on these 2 units. My inclination is to go with the Hobart, since it includes both flux and gas for a decent price and the warranty seems pretty strong.
Bottom line - if you were the sales guy and knew that my welding needs were infrequent and rather light duty, which unit would you recommend and why?
