  • is a new outside housing available for miller130xp?

    Ok, I bought a used miller 130xp a while back, and it works great. It is a little beat up on the top/side/back and I was wondering if new panels were available for it. if they are, how much do they cost?

      Wow, it's incredible. Those cosmetic blemishes just became marks of character and experience!

      Thanks for looking up the prices though!

              Maybe a can or two of spray paint and Miller decals would do the job?

                Hang a Picture On It

                At one time quite a few years ago ,I worked at a mobile home trailer plant for a short time. If they dinged one of the wallpapered walls, gouged the sheetrock,etc. they had a saying, "we'll hang a picture over it", I think that applys here. David

                  have you ever seen Willie's guitar?

                  About 40 years ago I just had to buy this new gorgeous classical guitar. It was a thing of beauty. A professional barroom guitar picker friend of mine came over to see it; he watched me **** around with it for a few minutes then he handed me his cigarette & said "burn it right here and right there, then write your name on it with a magic marker or something and then you might someday learn to play it. But you ain't ever gonna do squat if you keep on handling it like it was supposed to look new forever."

                    Very good point Cutter! Actually can you buy a can of Miller blue paint? That might be a good color for the welding cart....
                    Thanks everyone!

                      Yea when you get the cart built you could kick the welder off of it,and feel pretty good about it.I kind of like to get the maximum trade in value by keeping my stuff nice.It doesn't take that much effort in not beating something to death.Like using the top of the welder for a anvil.

                        Bob;
                        Rustoleum industrial enamel, Federal safety blue #V2124 is very close to Miller blue.
                        I painted my "Plasma Buggy" with it

                          How about it Hobart Guys? Can you give us a paint code for the Miller Blue? It would be real nice to freshen old equipment with the correct color.
