What brand is it? I have a Lincoln high freq box. You can turn a arc welder into a tig welder with it. The electrode terminal of the arc welder goes into the HF unit. The tig torch connects to the output of the HF. Mine uses a 3rd connection to the work terminal of the welder. What do I know I am just an electronics technician.

dayton hi freq box
Not tryin to hijack anyone's thread, but ive got a
Dayton (granger's brand name) hi freq box I dont need anymore.
I believe its made by century, but i could be wrong.
A friend of mine needed some cash, so I bought it from him.
hooked it up & played with it once, and put it on the shelf.
If anyone's interested, let me know.

Hmmmn, no, mine is red and about 6" tall. I think the basic circuits are the same. They have a very simple spark gap transmitter to generate the high voltage/ high frequency.
Mine has a small circuit board with 4 transistors and one ic to control the gas flow and the hf start/stop. I reversed enginered it to produce a schematic so I can fix it if the board fails.
The manual on mine is Lincoln #IM-298-AWhat do I know I am just an electronics technician.
