ARBO.............I believe the MM251's have been out for 1.5 years or there about's now................Serial number is the key to age.........spool gun is maybe the 30a they were popular for those units...............
Good luck on the bidding and I agree about the tanks.......... Verify who's they are.......................Good luck on the bidding...
I gave $800 for mine used, two years old & in perfect shape. I knew the owner. He upgrades all his equipment every two or three years. You may get a better deal if not alot of buyers show up. PS: You may or may not be able to get those tanks filled. Most suppliers are picky about proving YOU own the cylinders. I tell you this so you don't factor in the value of them, only to be disapointed when they turn into boat anchors.
I am planning on attending an auction this coming Saturday. There is a MM 250X listed on the sale bill with two cylinders and spool gun. I assume that this machine was the forerunner to the MM 251? I do not have a serial number available, but was wondering what vintage this machine would be. Also, assuming that it is in decent condition, what would fair market value be on such a unit. Any comments, good or bad concerning this model would be much appreciated. Thanks.
