2 of a kind, are you going for 3?
        Plasma cutter would look nice.

No plasma cutter on my list right now. I believe the next thing is a good auto darkening hood. I have a cheap one but I cant see too good out of it. I've realized that auto darkening it more important when stick welding compared to mig. With mig you can usually place the gun at the place you want to start and then flip down your hood. It wont start until you squeeze the trigger.
But with stick, you need your hood down before you touch the work piece.

I don t see a TIG torch and a bottle of Argon for the Stickmate
MigMaster 250- Smooth arc with a good touch of softness to it. Good weld puddle wetout. Light spatter producer.
Ironman 230 - Soft arc with a touch of agressiveness to it. Very good weld puddle wet out. Light spatter producer.

                bjdenommee,
Nope, no cart as of yet. Havent needed one really.

                Dan,
I do have 2 bottles. But the tig torch is far down the list. I just dont see myself needing it at this point. All I have welded so far is steel and none of it really thin.

Axe, a guy cant catch a break on this site can he? Gotta keep up with the Jonses and the charge card is still smokin from the last thing we bought. A traveling vaccuum salesman isnt as pushy as these guys. You would think we get commissions.

Very true sberry. If it's not one thing it's something else.

Quite a difference stick welding compared to mig. I keep getting the rod stuck to the work piece and then I cant get it unstuck. I got some 7018 in 3/32 and 1/8. No 6010 as of yet. I wont even mention what my beads look like
But as Franz said in a previous post "You wont become a expert in your first 50lbs of rod"

Most of my welding has been practice. I made a few barrel BBQ's and my welding table. Right now I'm making corner gun safe. I'll post pictures of it as I go along. I just got some of the steel this weekend.
