  • An observation

I have been loking at the hobart stickmate and the miller thunderbolt. I ahve noticed that on every other other product I have looked at by these two companies that it says either miller or hobart on the side of the welder and it doesnt on these machines. I know its not important but does anyone know why?

Probably due to the size of the side panel.

Forgot to mention that back in the early 1970's the Miller/Airco/whatever cracker boxes lay flat with controls on the front. They had the logo on the sides because it looked good. The old circular Miller log would still look good on the side because it would be in proportion.
