Hi Ted88, just wanted to chime in here quick, one is thank's for attending the Road Show and the purchase of the MM135. The bummer about this show is the Road Show will not make it here, but I'm sure there will be plenty to weld with.

Those road shows are great. I went to one at Shaw's Welding (Carmel NY) last April and bought my MM135. It was great to try one out before buying. I also tried TIG and some other machines. The price was better too.

They are hard to find out about though. I only knew about the one at Shaw's because I happened to be browsing there a couple of weeks beforehand and happened to notice a sign.

I am glad your going and I am sure if they run out of dynasty's for sale...............for sale.............if they are haveing a special the price is usually good for a few days.............I think if purchased at the show factory will ship to your address..............Ask and see how they do it at the warehouse.........Be safe..............Enjoy the show and ask all the questions you can think of..............Rock..

I'll be there as a customer on Wed too. Rumor has it they are giving away 50 Dynastys to the first few folks in the door Thought I heard Rock was covering the expense.

Just kidding, but will be there on Wed.

I signed up! One of the picks on the entry form was for "customer" well that's me, I want one bad. Haven't heard anything back so I'll just show up & hope they let me in. There was something mentioned about factory specials, so I'm going to try one more time to get a Dynasty. If I don't get one there I'll be ordering the TA185 next week.

    anyone can attend....

i was checking out the millerwelds.com site and it looks to me like there has been a change in the production/promotion of the swedesboro show.

it looks like it is now packaged more friendlier to a wider audience.
there is actually a invitation for anyone with a interest and who welds to attend.

also it looks like there are similar shows elsewhere in the country.
hope anyone who attends from here will give us a report afterwards.

    check it out...

    paul

    Kurt,
If you weren't sitting around doing nothing all week you could have the BBT in NJ ... just kidding.

If there is anyway to let us know when you're heading towards E. PA that would be super. Especially if you were going to have any time open to the public.

Never tried fishing. Always wanted to as a kid, but pop never had the time.

Hi guy's, just got done reading, luaghing and shaking my head, lot's of good comment's coming in, gosh were do I start, first off I wasn't out fishing but I did have a big fish cook out, deep fried walleye, poor-man's (lobster) northern, lake trout on the grill and some deep fried shrimp just cause. MMMMMMMMMMMMM That was good!!!!!!Wow that little Ronko look's nice but it sure was a pain to use as I remember casting mine in the garbage can, look's like you need to do better on the fishin pole. HA HA HA Now as for the newly named BBT(I like that) we were out in that area a couple of month's back and it look's like early OCT we will be in the eastern PA area I hope that help's, if not-- Sorry! The problem's you guy's are bringing up with the counter folk's I can relate but I also understand a little bit of the counter guy, you know he not only has to know Miller equipment but a few other brand's then he has to know all the wire's and gases, then there is all the tool's in his shop and grinding and cutting and let's not forget the head gear and clothing and safety gear also, I'm not trying to make excuses for the lack of knowledge just rying to shed some lite on the remark. So that's another great point to this site or the Millerwelds.com site with ask the expert. As for the treatment there is no excuse for that other than human nature and just talkin to the right guy at the wrong time(maybe). Well I'm in for the rest of the week and then off on the road for 2 week's, come Mon. so I'll try to keep up here. Keep grinin

Hey rock, I am interested in trying a tig square wave machine for aluminum welding. I hear that the arc is very narrow and a small weld can be achieved with this welder much easier then what I have now, the Miller syncrowave 250

Would Praxair have these machines for demos? Or where could I go to try one?

    Dear Rock,

Way to cool! Kurt will let me ride shotgun on the BBT if I show up with my Ronco Pocket Fisherman! I'M IN!

Seriously though Rock the BBT rolled through Denton, TX about four years ago and I was Mr. Mom that day with a two year old and a four year old in tow. The guys on the BBT treated me better than any counter person I’ve dealt with over the years. The guys on the BBT answered all my questions like I was some big shot from the Peterbilt factory just down the road.

You think the weld shops here in the Dallas/Fort Worth area would treat me different if I rolled up in a one-ton Power Stroke Diesel vs a mini van? Most of the counter folks I’ve dealt with don’t know squat about the Dynasty series and when I leave they know a little more then when I came in (which isn’t much). I’ve been in a bunch of welding stores over the past five years and they’re all the same, "Darrel and his other brother Darrel." Funny you would think a guy in there to talk about a $3000 - $6000 GTAW would get treated the same as if he pulled up in a welding rig. NOT!!!

    Just me *****’en.

Thanks Rock. Remind me to post something nice about you near year end reviews. LOL - I would run up to OCC if I weren't afraid fat Mikey would sit on me.

Now on the serious side - thanks yet again Rock for the help.
