      Miller Expo

Swedesboro is the location of a miller warehouse/ training facility, they do most of the distributor training for the east coast from that location, I am not sure on the details on this particular event, but it is probably not a Roadshow per say. I will see if can get more info, if not I am sure one of the miller guys can fill you in tommorow am.

              ROCK
Add me to that list also. When I saw this post about a show in Jersey I was all set to go. I figured I would hold off getting a
SOB (some other brand) welder because I might be able to try out a Miller at the show. Maybe with a show discount. Are there not enough weldors in NJ to have a show? <g>

Fill out a job apllication for Miller Swedesboro or at company that trains there. Might get free training. Maybe Rock could send you a list of companies that train there.

                  Hey Rock,
Where can we see a listing of shows open the public? Any idea? Gee, a show open to the public, with lots of Miller guys there for answering questions, and a special deal on the Dynasty 200dx for $1800 and we'd all be there.

                    tradeshows

                    hello junk

                    i am not rock...
                    but..
                    if you go to
Your trusted destination for welding resources, helpful support and high-performance products for all of your welding projects. Together, we can build anything.

and find the miller email newsletter
init you will find the schedule of the tradeshow route.

                    maybe you already know this.
any way not all those shows are open to us.
sema, fab, and the swedes/airco shows are closed to us. plus maybe others. i dont know. but lots of these on the list are open to pretty much any one.
the big blue truck is at a few select tradeshows
and the big blue truck is at different welding stores.
the BBT (bigbluetruck) apparently has a closely held schedule.
kurt chimes in on the activities of the BBT sometimes as he is the responsible adult of the BBT.

i am pretty sure BBT will be at the comeing farm shows in illinois and then in georgia ,soon.

it is my dream to ride shotgun in the BBT with kurt with my legs srtetched to the dash truckin on down the road event -to-event...

p.dow...........A requirement to ride with Kurt is that you will need a portable fishing pole, one that stores easily and a fairly complete tackle box...........Which by the way he gets to rummage thru and aquire what he needs...............Keep aspireing........ He won't even let me ride with him.............. But I have more seniority so I can pilfer thru his tackle box for my considerable needs................ He always has something I need.......... And he should be back here next week......... I think........TO DEFEND HIMSELF.......

                          Thanks p.dow and Rock.

Hey Rock. Checked out the schedule - that stinks ! I live in NJ and would gladly travel up to 3 hours one way to see a good show. Nothing in my area though - in fact, nothing in the entire tristate area.

Looks like the closest is about a 5 hour drive up to VT. That's a wicked bummer since you seem to have a training facility right in NJ.

Guess Blue is only interested in dealing with their NJ dealers and not the public? (sorry, not trying to be rude, but that's the way it comes across). That's a shame unless they start teaching the NJ dealers how to treat people better when they walk into the stores.

Seriously, I vow to never buy another machine in person since it seems like every dealer in NJ will snob you off if you don't know everything they know (exeption being cyberweld - jwgoodliff, but they prefer you to buy over the net anyway).

How about mentioning an open customer day? Just a thought, but I imagine it would really get a lot of folks there. Would it make the diff between someone buying blue vs something else? I dunno, but it would show the customers they are appreciated.

I'm just a hobbyist, but I belong to a truck club with 200 members. You know what? At least 50% of them have welders. We pretty much all share the same concerns and have similiar questions. So it's just a thought.

Thanks Rock. Remind me to post something nice about you near year end reviews. LOL - I would run up to OCC if I weren't afraid fat Mikey would sit on me.

Now on the serious side - thanks yet again Rock for the help.
