I have approx. 14 ea. miller rfcs foot pedals (I think that's the right prefix). I needed another pedal for the second cyber tig and ended up buying 14 for the price of one. I have since located the big alum. job for the other machine and have not picked them up (at my brothers house in MD.) It's the one that comes with the miller aircrafters, I had a picture here somewhere but can't find it.
Anyway, if you might want one, or a pic, contact me email and I will have bro send a pic and or ship. I don't know the pot value used on these, however it would be easy to change mil spec connector, swap pot, etc to use on hobart. For you gamers or electronic dudes, they make awesome rudder pedals for the "Commanche or fighter chair" Merry meltin.

thanks a bunch!
Well I really appreciate all the response from everyone and it looks like I have got some good leads on a foot control thanks for all the time and effort everyone has put forth....you guys are all right. I will keep an eye out for any updates. oh yea Rock I Have done a lot of Tig work and personally I think it is the most desirable type of welding for employment no heavy leathers or hot berries down the back of your neck and all.
ps. everyone seems to like the pictures so I will post some of my miscellaneous home projects for fun this is a piece of " art metal" I guess. built from scrap sheet metal it had a cool pattern so I sheared it down and made a little table for the girl friend its got some halloween stuff on there right now. it is stainless sheet rolled about 15" in dia. with the seam welded and 2' high with a stainless cap on both ends kind of a cool looking ? let me knowwe will see if I got the attachment to work

Guest repliedRAYFLASHBURN........ OH I HATE RADIATED BURNS THEY HURT...... WELCOME ABOARD...... THERE WERE ACTUALLY 2 TYPES AVAILABLE FOR THOSE OLD GIRLS, ONE WAS A BIG HEAVY DUTY ALUMINUM ONE PART NUMBER 362668B, AND THE OTHER WAS A LESS EXPENSIVE ONE BUT THE NUMBER EXCAPES ME AT THIS MOMENT..........HOWEVER AS I RECALL THEY ARE BOTH STILL AVAILABLE THRU A COMPETITOR CALLED THERMAL ARC.....
WHEN THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION GOT INVOLVED WITH ITW'S AQUISITION OF HOBARTS ITW WAS REQUIRED TO SELL OFF 70% OF THE WELDING EQUIPMENT DIVISION THAT HOBARTS OWNED DUE TO UNFARE TRADE ADVANTAGES......... THAT IS HOW THEY ENDED UP AT THERMAL..........CAN'T FIND A USED ONE CALL THERMAL ARC THEY ARE LISTED IN THE THOMAS BOOK OF REGISTRY.........
HAVE YOU EVER TIG WELDED BEFORE, HAHAHA..... GET THE FOOT PEDAL OR CLIP ON SLIDE FOR THE TORCH AND........ HAVE SOME FUN................... ROCK

There is a guy in Cincinnati - Huddleson, Ernie (Huds Welder Repair?) I think, that has a welder repair business. He is very helpful and has lots of Hobart knowledge and knows where parts can be found for the old stuff (I have an old Hobart TIG unit). I will try to find his business card tonight and get back to you tomorrow with a phone number.
Welcome to the forum. This is a great site with a lot of fine folks contributing to everyone's benefit.
Take care,
John

old hobart foot pedal?
Hey everybody looks like everyone is having a good time here. I would like to ask for some help. Administrators let me know if this is inappropriate...but, I am looking for a remote control.....that is a foot pedal for a old Hobart tig machine. now no laughing I know some of you guys may have be around when this was a new machine it's a TR250 HF tig/stick machine with a 10-pin controller connection. so if anyone....ha! ha! has a foot pedal for one of these laying around let me know. I'm aware that there are after market foot pedals available from companies like SSC Controls but I was looking for something on the cheap i.e.. used but not being used and maybe someone could part with it for a minimal amount. anyway thanks I've had a great time reading all the messages in the different forums
Good times
