It's OK to use the Red helmet to weld cuz after all when you get the hang of the Gray machine you'll want to move up to a real welder anyway and you'll be lookin at Red ones .

I recently purchased a new Hobart Stickmate LX ac/dc welder, and I was wondering if Hobart supplies a welding mask with those units. When I bought my new Lincoln several years ago, not only did it include a mask but it had a receptacle and ground clamp with it and an electrode holder. The Hobart only included the ground clamp and electrode holder. I'm just trying to find out if the store pulled a fast one on me, because they couldn't find the box that this welder came in. It had been used as a display model and the store had to search for the owner's manual, etc. What do you think? Joe
