Jerry,I have the 6x48,and the Ironworker.Sorry they are not for sale, because I am going to be burried with mine.

What type of feeder are you looking for, 24 volt or 120 volt?Hobart(now Thermal-arc),Lincoln,Miller all make great feeders.Does your xmt have 120 volts to the pins or could you deal with pulling the power off the wall?

Hello Scott, I don't have any idea about 24 v or 120 v. My pow cons just plug into remote plug out the back of the machine. I thought that this must be the same, plug into 14 pin remote and positive cable runs over to feeder.

Hey Rock, Will a miller S 21 E wire feeder with a 14 pin work on this 300.

Jerry, you are not locked into any brand.Just some give you more options.Look in your manual to see what power are on the pins. It's easy to redo the pins for other feeders.I bet there is 120 volt on that one,and I know there is 24 volt. It's when you get into 42 volt feeders that it becomes a pain. Also the Powcons are kind of tough to work with. You will only need two wires for the contactor from the pins if it's a 120 volt feeder. Then you can pull power off the wall.If you want a good simple easy hook up look for a Miller 22A feeder.I wouldn't mess with a voltage sensing feeder unless you got a great deal, and if you can use it elsewhere. When those blow you will not like the price to fix them.

Jerry, look for the wire feeder at the same time. If manuals are available, you should be able to determine compatibility. If your XMT is cc/cv as I assume it is, there is a manual available.
