I'm looking for recommendations for websites etc (other than EBay) to purchase used machine equipment and welders. i have a garage shop. i cerntainly don't need (nor can afford) new equipment.

morph: nothing specific at the moment. I just like to keeps my eyes open to see what deals my cross my path. I'll eventually be getting a bigger welder (have H135 now) but am also interested in other machine tools.
Ebay has too much new stuff that it's hard to wade through and get to the quality used stuff.Comment

ok. but it's that wading through the junk that finds the deals. kinda like going to garage sales ... never know what you're going to find.
this place has more used welding equipment lsited than any store I've seen on the net and since they're a welding distributor if they say a machine works I'd be more likely to believe them than some guy on eBay.

USED WELDERS
I have purchased used equipmet from www.red-d-arc.com. They have some stuff listed on the web. Also try the 800 number. I have purchased a plasma cutter Hypertherm 800 and a lincoln wirematic 255. The cost is around half list. I am happy with the service and condition of the equipment, they are a rental company.Comment
