suitcase wire feeder

what all kind of power supplies will run a Miller suitcase wire feeder ? will a 235amp AC buzz box run it ?

I ran across this ad while looking for a used plasma cutter:

Jack, ac power is very bad on miller voltage sensing feeders.Don't ask how I know.(I forgot to switch it to DC power)The boards are about $700.00

Rock,if you leave the hi freq off you can get a couple of extra minutes.I was trying to figure out why it was pulsing.By the time I got that figured out,it was too late.It was a S-32-S feeder,and a Thermal-arc ac/dc inverter.I had it on stick AC.Most of the time I have to learn things the hard way!The old s32s feeders are pretty tough,but I could kill one. Its wire feed motor is now being used on a Mill-drill as a table powerfeed.
