  • Sorry,Rock>red tig ?

While hitting a few welding supplys in Atlanta, I ran across a guy that had a Lincoln Squarewave Tig 350. He wanted $1500.00 for it. He got it at an auction. It had a water cooled torch,a cart and leather covering for the torch hose. He bought it to weld some very thin stuff that looked like cheap tin metal roofing(maybe it was alumunium, but it was very thin). He said it wouldn't weld that stuff and he had not used it since. They had a machine shop at the location and built hydraulic stuff for elevators. It looked to be in pretty fair condition. I wanted to know if anyone had any experience with this welder and if yall thought that was a good deal. I didn't try to weld with it because I was going to my nephews baseball game. I'd say it was maybe around five years old. Any thoughts good or bad? Thanks to all!

Call Lincoln Electric Technical center at 1-888-921-9353. Also, try welding with that machine, both AC and DC. If everything works you are getting a superp machine at a very, very good price.

          Lincoln squarewave 350

This is a link to the particular welder . I think the one I'm looking at is a little newer version, as the front panel looks like some of Lincoln's newer machines.
Choose the Lincoln Electric web site for your country or region to find the best selection of welding equipment, welding wire and electrode, welding safety equipment, weld fume control, and welding automation systems.
