Dave, if and when you find a way to keep everyone happy, and leave Hobart to form your own company, please put me down for 100 shares of the Initial Public Offering.
This site is one of the best I've found, not only does Hobart take a hands off policy to the mention of compeditor equipment, there is a fine level of ball busting, and tremendous amount of help offered free of charge.
Now, if only we could get ROCK to come off the dime and ship out all those free hats he promised us we'd have it knocked. ****, if I ever buy a new welder I'm gonna buy Hobart just to support the site. I sure hope yer paycheck don't depend on me making that buy though, the last new machine I bought was blue, and that was 22 years ago. It just keeps running, and I'll work it to death.

TESTING WILL START IN 1 WEEK TO 10 DAYS IF I UNDERSTAND THE TEST SITE FOLKS CORRECTLY........... THIS WILL BE THE CUTTER ONLY NOT THE WELDING HEAD PART........... PROTO TYPE (WELDING HEAD) STILL UNDER DEVELOPMENT..............

TEST SITE WILL POST PICTURES AS THE TEST GOES ALONG, THEY WILL BE COMPAREING A PLASMA CUTTER, PROPANE OR OXY/ACC TORCH, AND THE OPTREL...........

There is already a OXY/Gasoline torch being sold in the states. Made in China I think. Not cheap though. If you want you can find info by doing a search on "cutting torch gasoline" I saw one at a machinery show earlier in the year.

Rock, I am not promoting at all, and have not tried one of these things out. I don't even remember the brand of the thing.
