  • Question about used Miller 250 Trailblazer

I am wondering if anyone could give me a ball park figure on what a used (slightly) Miller 250 Trailblazer would be worth. A local towing company purchased this welder approx 10 years ago and the hour meter shows 47.4 hours. They do not use it anymore, and are asking $2000.00 for it. I tried finding information about this welder at the Miller site but can only find information on the newer Trailblazers. This welder has both stick and mig, and the generator is powered by an Onan gas engine. It looks as if it has been kept inside most of the time and appears to be in good shape. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Even though it looks good and only has 47.4 hours on it, the asking price seems to be a little high when compared to the new Trailblazers of similar size........thanks

Pat, can you get me a machine serial number? I can look it up on our trusty computer to see what it sold for and let you know if it's worth it. Does it come with any cables, or gas bottles? Is the gasoline and oil also ten years old? that could cause some serious isssues...........

      ScottH,

I will see if I can get the serial number when I get into work tonight. It has approx 50 foot stick welding cables, and also has the mig gun but I didn't notice how long the mig cable was. There is no gas cylinder, and it has a smaller blue box (converter??) that sits on top of the welder. I was told that they do start it up every now and then and let it run a few minutes. Unknown about the fuel and oil changes but will ask........thanks
