Dan,this is one to watch,if it stays around this price I might even bid. Even though it clashes with red.

Here is another one that's seems pretty cheap.I wonder if these things work or if there is a use for them?Pretty cute though.

Scott, there's not much power in an 85 amp stick machine, but I bet it would be fine for portable welding on burglar bars and metal fences.

IF I WAS DOING IN HOUSE REPIARS ALL DAY LONG AND WAS CLIMBING UP AND DOWN A LADDER TO DO PIPE REPIARS....... THIS WOULD BE BETTER TO HAVE ON MY SHOULDER THAN 30 FOOT OF LEAD..........OR IF YOU WERE OUTSIDE INSTALLING GATES OR BURGLER GUARDS...............VERY SMALL VERY LIGHT WEIGHT........... THE ONLY DRAW BACK AS I SEE IT IS THE 85 AMP OUTPUT...............THIS IS MY PERSONAL PREFERENCE I HAVE USED BOTH THE 85 AND THE 140 MAXSTAR'S I PREFER THE BIGGER UNIT........... LIKE TOOL TIME........NEED MORE POWER..... SO THE 140 WEIGHS 2 MORE POUNDS FOR THE AMPERAGE THAT IS WHAT I USUALLY LOOK AT.............ON ANOTHER NOTE THEY BOTH WELD NICE..............BUT AS ALWAYS YOUR CALL AS IT IS YOUR MONEY.... HAHAHA.......... .....NOW YOU GET TO DECIDE..........ROCK..... ...........

Rock thanks for the hat offer, but I have a feeling this welder is going pretty high. These Miller fans that bid are just insane,it will no doubt go close to a new one, after shipping, and adding a gun..If I did buy a 251 it will probally have to come with one of those cool clocks. If these guys seen them they would never let you alone. The Miller rep out here dropped one off at the welding store. It would match my other Miller product that I own,my Miller bar stool.I really think you guys need to forget about welders, and make furniture. By the way whats the duty-cycle on that neon clock?

That little maxstar is a great price, but I like the 140 much better myself.
