  • i've hooked up a readywelder spoolgun to my hh175

    i attached a pic of the gun and a pic of aluminum bead. it solves all wire feed problems! spent around $400-$450. ran a contactor wire from the gun to the machine so it operates like normal. i can go form the stock gun to the spoolgun in about 60 seconds. it's really a cool product.

      Now that's a neat little operation. Nice bead. Wonder if that would work on my HH 135?

        HI CRAIG........... WELL BY GOLLY IF IT WORKS THAT IS COOL........ I'M CURIOUS FROM THE FIRST PICTURE UP BY THE RED TRIGGER WHAT IS THAT PIECE OF DUCT TAPE ON THERE FOR.............?... I'M NOT BEING CRITICAL HERE........... JUST CURIOUS........ ..... LOOKS LIKE IT WELDS OK HOW THICK WAS THAT ALUMINUM.......           the aluminum was .062 i believe. it was a lap joint so it was a little easier than a butt weld. yes it would work on your hh135. the piece of duct tape is covering up the vent holes for the motor. readywelder says if your not welding constantly high amps, you don't need them open. only allows metal grindings to stick to the motor magnets.
