Hi all, Just thought that I would do a little bragging. I bought a Hobart Champion 10000 engine driven welder today Thanks to all who helped me to make my decision. I got it at Tractor Supply, They got it in and it had a small ding in the top of it. I did alot of talking to the manager about the ding in it and that it was the last one, I think that he got tired of hearing about it and I got $400.00 knocked off it. I did alittle welding with it tonight and it is sweet...Again, Thanks to everyone for all you guidance on my purchase...Sandman

Whats the output in amps on that machine? 10,000 must the the gen side right?

DO you have the crisp/ soft weld control on yours?

Bernie,You have to get up to about the $10,000 pipepro 304 to get what your Ranger 250 has in arc adjustments,and Downhill pipe settings.The TrailBlazer has a three inductance settings.To be fair to the Pipepro,you do get a whole lot more when you get up to that size.(diesel engine)
