Hi Aaron, well my windfall came in that I was waiting on (didn't want to abuse the plastic...lol). Right now I am fighting with getting the bigger plasma cutter or getting the 375 (which cuts 3/8" like butter anyway). And a new weldor (either the 210 or 251). I will let you know what I do. I know whatever it is it will be by the weekend. I won't have anytime to play this weekend I don't believe. The oldest daughter graduates this weekend from college (with honors......PROUD DAD!!!). Anyway that is on Saturday and then on Sunday we are taking the family out to dinner in celebration....
PS....this buddy could use a piece of 3/8" by 22 by 52 for his welding top..))))
Aaron, you should see it rip through some 2 inch stuff. It wasn't pretty, but it made it.I really like my 70 amp machine, but once you use a 90 amp one,you know the true meaning of cuts 3/8 like butter. For about $800.00 plus dollars I could upgrade to it.I got such a deal on my 70 amp machice it would only really cost me about $600.00.I got my Esab 1125 for $1500.00 new.(steal)
Srubrn,Miller just had a price hike so is all this free stuff free? You might want to dig a little deeper into the story. That was the exact thing my friend told me that sells them, told me today.
Come on Scott, Welding Mart??? These <CENSORED (by the author...)> START at full retail then tack on their profit...If this is actually a good price then "stop the internet", 'cause it is the only good price they have ever had...

If not...how about a trade up..))))
Thanks Bob
I guess I don't understand... My Hobart Hood has worked flawlessly since I've owned it. Always darkens, smooth, consistently dark window, etc... No complaints! What would two more sensors do for you???

Bill,go ahead, and check on that price. That is as low as that machine goes.I would guess, but I could check for sure, but it is 10% over anybodys real cost. Those things have sold for close to $3,000.
Ok Bill, here is the cheap place.Check out their Speedglas 9000x.
I just checked, and they are selling it for $2,600.00 that is bottom dollar, and when welding places find out they are selling stuff this cheap, things will change. You watch.I notice Millers prices here are kind of high,so they are protecting there dealers much better.I kind of figured out they were making about 2% on their powermig 300.They might be making 3% now that they raised their prices.

Hi Bill, I am still learning myself but I believe the 4 sensors have less of a chance of flashing you. I could be wrong.
Congrats on the graduation thing! My daughter is four now, so that seems like something light years away right now. I will see what I can do to get your top. Problem is in cutting it right now! I looked briefly at the Miller 400 kit being offered currently with the free accessories for about $1200. But until that big side job comes through, I'm all toyed out!
Some weekend you need to come down and check out my shop. We've been using your consumables for several months now.
Aaron
Thanks Aaron, they do grow up quickly. It seems it was just yesterday when this one was out bass fishing with me and bow hunting.....Oh man where did the time go.
BTW what is the Miller 400 kit? Or did you mean the new Hobart 400 plasma cutter?
I know what you mean about toyed out. After this purchase I want to get a small lathe. That will be the end of things for awhile...lol
Ok Aaron, That is the price on ebay right now including shipping. My local BOC has given me a combo price for the MM210 and the Spectrum 375 of 2423.66 out the door. They have a MM210 in stock and the 375 should be there tomorrow.
DEERE_X475..........HEY THE LENSES HAVE 2 CENSORS IN THEM... SORRY I GUESS I OVERLOOKED THIS ONE THE OTHER DAY........ AND IT IS NICE TO KNOW YOU GOT A COMBO PRICE.........
ROCK.......................... [email protected]:
Thanks Rock no problem. I tried calling you this morning but had to hang up. Would you check with Joe Schneider for me to see how he is coming with the gouging tip for the 375? I will probably pick mine up tomorrow. Right now I am struggling with getting the MM251 or the MM210...........
