Ok...here goes.
First impression:
1. Initially harder to find what I wanted. But didn't take long to figure it out. The old look and feel was much more user friendly.
2. The Spectrum 375 cutting specification area is much easier to read then the old. I had actually mocked up a new page for you guys to show those specs better. I still think this area could be divided up into two separate columns for this data. (Probably just me being picky because this is what I do for a living).
3. MOST IMPORTANT to me anyway... The Manuals....come on you guys...this was one place in my opionion you shined in. None of your competition from what I could find offered online manuals. I am the kind of person that wants to read the manuals to find answers to questions I have before I buy. I do this even in the stores here. When I was searching for the a plasma cutter I really appreciated being able to download the two manuals (375 and 625) and comparing information. Also when I was looking between the MM210 and MM251 I did the same thing. I have saved them so what ever I buy I will have a spare to keep in the shop. I like to be able to keep the original in a safe place in the house with the rest of my papers and keep the printed our pdf version in a cabinet in the shop for reference if I need one. I have done this will almost all the stuff I have. Including my John Deere tractor I bought last spring.
Thanks for listening.
Bob
PS....at the AWS show I commented to Thermadyne that you guys had this board and a site to download manuals on. They seemed very interested in hearing about my comments and had their product specialist Bob Brown listen to me. He said they were in the process of getting thier site brought up to speed and felt the online manuals would be something they should add.
Who knows if that will actually happen or not but at least they seemed to feel it was important enough to drag this guy away from what he was doing to listen to me....
